Between Two Ferns is the Funny or Die online show hosted by actor Zach Galifianakis, who has his guests literally sit between two ferns and endure his unconventional questions. The premiere featured comedian and actor Jerry Seinfeld and “better guest” rapper Cardi B.
Galifianakis told Seinfeld to give up his seat to Cardi, who is pregnant with her first child, and sit on a milk crate at the side. She came out to her notable track “Bodak Yellow,” in a red satin outfit, toward the end of the show.
The host also gave her a baby gift, a onesie that says “Rap Fan” on it. She teased Seinfeld by saying, “See I got a gift” and “I’m special,” as she showed off the present.
“You are special. But the most important thing is that you’re relevant,” Galifianakis told Cardi and thanked her for saving his show.
