We did it, ya’ll! Cardi B is No. 1! Let the streets say “Amen.”

According to Billboard, Cardi B has become the second female rapper to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart sans a feature in nearly 19 years, as her breakout hit “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” makes the move from No. 2 to No. 1 on the latest chart.

Cardi’s No. 1 spot comes second to Lauryn Hill‘s “Doo Wop (That Thing).” Debuting at No. 1 on Nov. 14, 1998, the track remained at the top of the charts for two weeks. Also, the Bronx rapper is the fifth rapper ever to lead the Hot 100. After Lauryn Hill, Lil’ Kim came through with Christina Aguilera, Mya and P!nk on “Lady Marmalade” in 2001, followed by Shawnna and Ludacris’ “Stand Up” in 2003 and Iggy Azalea’s breakout hit, “Fancy,” featuring Charli XCX.

It’s something incredibly endearing about a glow up and Cardi B has become the recent poster child for the “rags to riches” storyline we can’t get enough of. Let’s celebrate her victory!

Congrats, Bardi!
