In a post on her Instagram, Cardi B wrote, “I can’t believe my life, my story [and] my personality influence people.” The 25-year-old talks about always being the black sheep of her family and having to find her footing in life. “I always knew I was different. I just had to find and believe in myself. [I’ve] been every type of woman: school girl, 9-5 girl, stripper, street b***h, fiancee, wild girl, everything! That’s why I don’t judge been there done that.”

Cardi B thanked Taraji P. Henson for writing about her authencity. The “Bodak Yellow” recently spoke to Ellen DeGeneres about growing up in The Bronx and liking her short time as a stripper. The mom-to-be has been vocal about becoming a stripper to escape an abusive relationship and how video vixens in her industry are voiceless in the fight against sexual harassment.
