Rapper Cardi B spoke with Ebro Darden on his Apple Music show on Wednesday and revealed that she was offered a huge check to debut photos of her 3-month-old daughter, Kulture.

“Me and my husband, [rapper Offset], we just don’t wanna show our baby right now,” the “I Like It” rapper said. “I got offered seven figures … over a million, but I’m just not ready yet.”

Cardi and Offest welcomed Kulture on July 10. The married couple has chosen not to show the baby’s face, which Cardi told Darden is partially due to the threats and nasty comments online.

“These photographers and these bloggers are not the ones that get threats to your kids,” the 26-year-old said. “I got so many disgusting text messages. I literally had to hire a private investigator to find out who are these people threatening my child.”

Cardi alleged that people even said that while pregnant she should have been in the car accident with Offset this past May.

The new-mom may be rightfully paranoid about sharing her child with the world. She recently spoke to Jimy Kimmel about how delivering Kulture “broke” her vagina and the lack of privacy that comes with being a celebrity mom.

“There [are]certain things I want to do with my daughter,” Cardi told Kimmel.

“I just can’t because I don’t know who is next to me or who has certain intentions. I just want to protect her. I’m not mentally ready. Paparazzi is everywhere even in my a**hole. I would like to do normal things with my baby, but right now I have to keep it very low key.”

Threats and uneasiness aside, Cardi B still shares her motherhood journey-including photos of Kulture’s hands, and feet-and drops raps about the joys of parenting such as the bars on her new single, “Money.”
