It looks like Chadwick Boseman has found his first non-Marvel role since the release of Black Panther earlier this year.

The star is attached to star in the New York police drama 17 Bridges, the Associated Press reports.

Boseman will play a “disgraced NYPD detective thrust into a citywide manhunt for a cop killer,” according to the AP.

The Black Panther actor will reteam with Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo, who are attached to direct 17 bridges. The film will be released by STX Entertainment.

Boseman was last seen in Infinity War, which has grossed over $2 billion at the worldwide box office.

“STX has assembled a dream team of collaborators on ’17 Bridges,’ bringing together the global talents behind two of the biggest action films ever made to give audiences a thrilling new take on the race-against-the-clock crime-drama,” STXfilms chairman Adam Fogelson told Variety.

“Chadwick Boseman’s razor-sharp instincts and undeniable charisma captivated millions of people around the world in ‘Black Panther,’ and Joe and Anthony Russo have breathed a new energy into the action genre with films like ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’” Fogelson added.

The movie will start filming in September.
