Ahead of Heartbreak on a Full Moon‘s release, Chris Brown surprised Team Breezy fans with a special pop-up show at the Manhattan Center’s Grand Ballroom in New York City on Wednesday (October 25).
TIDAL X: Chris Brown featured Breezy performing a few of his biggest hits, including “Ayo,” “Privacy,” “Party,” “Loyal,” “Questions,” and “Yo (Excuse Me Miss).” The R&B star held it down on the dance tip as well with his back up dancers by his side for the 45-minute showcase.
Brown also tapped a few of his celebrity friends to join him on stage for the TIDAL-streamed concert including Dave East, Fabolous and
Yo Gotti. Dave East was first up and helped performed their “Perfect” collaboration. Fabolous came through next for a cool rendition of “She Wildin” and “Flipmode.” Later, Yo Gotti turned the crowd up with “Pills & Automobiles” and “Rake It Up.”
Brown stopped during the show to share a message of positivity: “The whole purpose of me doing this album and me doing this concert was to let y’all see y’all free,” he said. “Whatever you set your mind to, whatever you want to do, if it doesn’t have ill intent and it’s natural, this shit gonna happen like this every time. You’re gonna succeed at anything y’all want to do.”
“With this album, I wanted to capture all bases of who my audience like and what songs they can actually identify with,” Brown said about his forthcoming album. “More R&B, all my girl fans love it, you gon’ have it. More pop, you gon’ have it. But it’s still gonna be my essence.” Check out the full performance below.
