Okay, get ready to be in complete awe of the amazingness that is Kendrick Lamar or as we like to call him around these parts, “Kendrick Lamah”.

This brother is not here to play in this rap game and it’s not just his lyrics that are fully loaded but his cinematic visuals are taking hostages too.

After releasing his third studio album, DAMN last week, “Kung Fu Kenny” dropped the video for “DNA”, the second single from the already crowned classic project.

Directed by Nabil and the Little Homies, DNA features actor Don Cheadle who enters the video interrogating K.Dot. After a few questions, something electric happens, taking Cheadle out and then reviving him as a rapper, lip synching Kendrick’s rhymes.

After the two rhyme back and forth, Kendrick whispers a message to Cheadle and then slides into the next frame where the Compton representer continues his asthmatic flow donning a tai chi uniform as his flow praises Black culture, his heritage and throws shots at those who chose to appropriate it for financial gain.

Check it out below.

Just as DAMN needs to be on repeat to fully grasp every metaphor, meaning and punching, DNA’s visual needs to be watched at least another two times.
