On the heels of a shaky performance at the highly anticipated Ruff Ryders Reunion Tour at the Barclay Center in New York on April 21st, DMX has reportedly canceled a run of concerts due to undisclosed health issues.

According to TMZ, the Ruff Ryders frontman’s scheduled show in Santa Ana, Calif., on Tuesday night was nixed, with the venue blaming a “medical emergency” for the cancellation. The rapper’s shows in Los Angeles Wednesday and in San Diego on Thursday are also reportedly expected to be postponed.

The string of cancellations reportedly have friends of DMX concerned that the star has relapsed and is back to abusing drugs and alcohol.  At his recent Barclays performance fans shared the concern with one concert, @AriiJBlige, sharing video of DMX rambling, and eventually noting that he was eventually forced off stage.

DMX has notoriously struggled with substance abuse issues through the years.  Just over a year ago he was hospitalized after cops found him unconscious and no longer breathing at a Ramada Inn parking lot in Yonkers.

The star has spoken about his troubles with drugs in the past, telling Dr. Phil in 2013 that he became addicted after smoking a blunt laced with cocaine when he was 14. He even sought help with OWN star and life coach Iyanla Vanzant on her show Iyanla Fix My Life

Prayers up for the X man.
