Donald Glover looks to be adding some extracurricular homework outside of Greendale Community College. The "Community" star, who plays former high school quarterback-turned-air conditioning repair savant Troy Barnes, is developing a new show for NBC with "30 Rock" co-executive producer Matt Hubbard. Glover worked as a writer on "30 Rock" along with Hubbard before moving in front of the camera. The new sitcom, however, will be developed and tagged as a starring vehicle for Glover. NBC is said to be committed to the project, and is close to sealing a deal for a pilot, which would be loosely based on Glover's life.

The actor, comedian, rapper (as Childish Gambino), writer is still signed on for a fourth season of "Community," which returns to NBC on Friday, October 19.
