President Donald Trump apparently wants Colin Kaepernick and Kanye West to participate in a summit on race, Pastor Darrell Scott, who serves as a White House adviser, told PEOPLE.

Scott said Trump is “100 percent for it,” following the White House’s National Day of Prayer ceremony on Thursday. “He was very enthusiastic about it,” he added.

Kaepernick has been a target of Trump’s because of his kneeling during the national anthem before NFL games in 2016 to protest the racial injustice that African-Americans face in the U.S.

The president has said that any player who knelt during the anthem should be fired.

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, you’d say, ‘Get that son of a b*tch off the field right now. Out! He’s fired,” Trump said at a rally in Alabama in September 2017.

West has come out in support of Trump, saying that the president is his brother.

“You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him,” the rapper said in a series of tweets on April 25.

Scott said other athletes and musicians have been invited and that he wants people to see the Trump he’s gotten know.

“It’s not going to be a black-only event. It will be a melting pot,” he said. “We don’t want to sanitize it. I want people from the left to attend. I want it to get heated but I want it to be respectful,” he continued. “I want them to see and know the Donald Trump I know and they will say, ‘This guy isn’t who I’ve been led to believe he is.’”

The Cleveland-based pastor said that details of the event are being worked on, but he has high hopes that Trump will attend.
