It looks like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has washed his hands with Fast & Furious co-star Tyrese Gibson, as the action star sees no point in speaking to the R&B crooner after being called out by him on social media last year.

The Watts singer accused the actor of selfishly taking the lead role in a F&F spinoff and of breaking up the “Fast Family.” Taking the part also pushed back production on the next F&F ensemble film, which didn’t sit well with Gibson, who was admittedly in great debt at the time.

“Diversity, love, multi ethnic worldwide multi generational, United Nations, One Race, Fast Family…… Until Dewayne showed up I guess this whole time he had a problem cause he wasn’t the ONLY ONE on the movie poster… congratulations to @hhgarcia41 and @therock you guys are just amazing you really broke up the #FastFamily.”

Gibson went on, “got 3 years of venting on this clown – They offered but YOU didn’t have to agree with a solo #HobbsMovie #OriginalFastFamily we salute you and stand on your shoulders #VinDiesel #PaulWalker #RobCohen #RomanTej were offered a spin off we TURNED IT DOWN!!!”

The “Sweet Lady” singer attempted to squash the beef during a conversation with one of Johnson’s associates.

Apparently, the man himself didn’t get the message. While doing press for new film, Skyscraper, on Watch What Happens Live, he revealed that he hasn’t spoken to Gibson since his social media rants went viral, and doesn’t plan on it.

“The answer is no. No, we haven’t talked at all. That whole thing with Tyrese, it was pretty disappointing because I’d been friends with Tyrese for a very long time.”

He went on, “I always feel like a beef requires two people to actually jump in it. It was really one-sided, and he had voiced his opinion a lot on social media and apparently he was going through some stuff too in his personal life, but no, we haven’t talked and I don’t see where we would. To me, there’s no need to have a conversation.”
