Several of our favorite artists will be taking to the streets of Washington, D.C., this Thursday in protest of the potential lifetime appointment of Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Erykah Badu, Maxwell and a host of other celebrities will be lending their talents to “Cancel Kavanaugh,” a protest attempting to block his appointment following allegations of sexual misconduct by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. The event, which has the hashtag “Bravery Is Contagious,” urges citizens to call their senators to express their disapproval of Kavanaugh before his expected confirmation Friday.

“We anticipate a vote on the Senate floor to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as early as Friday. It is critical we make our voices heard on the ground in Washington on Thursday,” according to the official website. “If there was ever a moment when the voice of the people can come together in concert to change the fate of our nation, this is it. Arm in arm, organized and ready, every child, woman, and man, must take to the streets to protest this nomination. The legitimacy of the nation’s highest court is at stake as is the future of our country.”

The #CANCELKAVANAUGH Protest will take place Oct. 4 at 12:30 p.m. at the Barrett Prettyman Courthouse in Washington, D.C. Click here to learn more.
