Undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has taken to Twitter to deliver a potshot to New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin. The braggart pugilist believes that all the hype being given to the Madison Square Garden savior is due to his race, rather than his exceptional play. "Jeremy Lin is a good player, but all the hype is because he's Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don't get the same praise," Money Mayweather wrote on his Twitter account on Monday afternoon.

Neither Lin's agent, Roger Montgomery, or ESPN commented on the claims, but Mayweather was far from done. "It's OK for ESPN to give their opinion, but I say something and everyone questions Floyd Mayweather," the boxer tweeted. "I'm speaking my mind on behalf of other NBA players. They are programmed to be politically correct and will be penalized if they speak up."

Does the leader of "The Money Team" have a point? Or has he launched up another opinionated brick shot?
