After “Channel Orange” debuted on the Billboard charts at number two, breakout star Frank Ocean seemed slated for greatness. Not only did the R&B crooner land a gig as opening act for international supergroup Coldplay, but he had also planned an impressive 15-city tour throughout Europe for the upcoming months. Yet, Ocean has recently announced that he will no longer be doing either. The “Think About You” singer broke the news only a few days following a performance in Norway last Thursday that Ocean unexpectedly cut short due to vocal problems.

“Let me start by saying I feel like an a**hole right now,” said the R&B singer in a statement posted to the official Facebook page of Sweden’s Way Out West festival, where he had been scheduled to perform. “But a tough decision had to be made in regard to my schedule over the next months and the casualties of that decision include my appearances at upcoming festivals in Europe and my opening slot of the European leg of the Coldplay world tour. Sorry as f*ck, I’ll be back if you’ll have me.”
