If you’re like me and grew up on ’90s TV, then The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was a huge part of your childhood. Will, Aunt Viv, Uncle Phil, Ashley, Hillary, Carlton, and Geoffery served up a host of laughs, and even a few tears, for six seasons until they turned out the lights on the mansion and walked away.

While the crew has remained close over the years, the whole cast–minus a few fan favorites, like James Avery aka Uncle Phil, who passed away in 2013–met up for lunch and made many of us feel super nostalgic.

Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton Banks, posted a picture to Instagram with the caption, “Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family. Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete.”

The series’ star, Will Smith, echoed Ribeiro’s sentiments in a cute Facebook post about his “BFFs.”

One person who WAS absent from the sunny reunion was the original Aunt Viv, Janet Hubert. Hubert left the show midway through its run, reportedly due to a spat with Smith. The beef seemed to continue over the years–at least for Hubert–who came for the Smiths after Jada Pinkett Smith called out the industry and let it be known she was skipping the 2016 Oscars because of its lack of diversity.

“You ain’t Barack and Michelle Obama. And y’all need to get over yourselves,” Hubert said in a video slamming the couple. “You are a part of Hollywood. You are a part of the system that is unfair to other actors.”

Despite her criticisms, Smith took the high road, praising his former co-star, calling her “brilliant.”

“I think she’s brilliant,” he said of Hubert in an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra last year. “I think as an artist, there’s so many things that she does: She sings, she dances, she’s like a really powerful artist. So I loved what she brought to The Fresh Prince.”

So…maybe the OG Aunt Viv will be at the next Fresh Prince brunch?
