With the Jackson family drama unfolding in real-time on Twitter and television, legendary soul singer Gladys Knight offered her opinion on the family's drama during a guest appearance on a network talk show. Featured on CBS's "The Talk," the "Empress of Soul" told the ladies that "[Paris Jackson] wouldn't have any teeth," when referring to the 14-year-old's tweets about her family's private affairs. Knight quickly added, "She is a Jackson, she shouldn't be putting the business out there like that. Cause people read into whatever they want to read into, that's how they get the drama."

Paris, the daughter of Michael Jackson, has relentlessly tweeted a blow-by-blow account of the dramatics involving her father's will, and most recently about the whereabouts of her grandmother, Katherine Jackson. A video recently went viral on the web, which allegedly shows Janet Jackson trying to take her niece's cell phone away in an attempt to stop her from tweeting. Knight believes that Paris needs to respect her elders, saying, "I was raided in that southern way. Paris is what, 14? How old is Janet? Who's the one who tries to direct the other one here?"
