Former Basketball Wives star Gloria Govan is requesting to reclaim custody of her twin sons with her ex-husband, former NBA player Matt Barnes, according to The Blast.

Earlier this month, Govan was arrested for felony child endangerment after a fight with her children’s father at their school. After the altercation, Barnes was granted a restraining order against the reality star keeping her 100 yards away from him. A judge also ordered that she only get monitored 4-hour visits with her sons.

On Wednesday, following two visitations, Govan and her lawyer Mark Gross filed documents asking that she regain primary custody of the boys. According to the papers, she “maintained a safe environment for the twins at all times, especially while they were in the pool.”

Govan argued that the “alleged danger to the children” is the result of her tumultuous relationship with Barnes. Since there is a restraining order in place, Govan claimed further conflict would be prevented.

She also requested that the retired basketball star is placed back on his previous visitation schedule. The documents highlighted a time Barnes allegedly sent a nanny to retrieve the children from a visit without notifying the court-appointed monitor.

Govan and Barnes are scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
