Insecure is one of the most original shows on television, but it’s also clear that its creator, Issa Rae, was inspired by the comedies of her youth. The 1990s was an incredible era for Black sitcoms, and  Rae recently paid homage to four of her favorites.

The writer and actress paid tribute to Family Matters, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Moesha and A Different World in her latest photo shoot for GQ. Check out this behind-the-scenes clip from the woman herself below.
