Jamie Foxx is ready to rake in some holiday season cash with newest flick, Robin Hood. The jack-of-all-trades is set to star in the latest film adaptation of the tale as Little John, a Moorish teacher instructing Robin of Loxley on the art of “robbing from the rich,” according to Variety.
“You were a lord, but now you get to become a thief, and I’m going to show you how,” Hood is told by Foxx’s character in the trailer.
Robin Hood, played by Taron Egerton, is described as a “war-hardened crusader” who, with the help of commander John, revolts against the corrupt English empire.
