It still is and will always be #F**kCancer and JAY-Z recognizes the importance of celebrating life during this holiday season.
During the Oakland stop on his “4:44 Tour” (Dec. 16), JAY stopped mid-performance when a sign caught his attention from the crowd. According to Billboard, the sign read: “I beat cancer 2x 2 see u! I love u!!! Selfie or hug?” and was held by audience member Christina Cruz.
He read it aloud and invited Cruz on stage at the Oracle Arena to grant her wish. “I gotta give you at least a hug. Could somebody help her around please?” he said. After she made her way on stage backed by the crowd’s applause, Hov embraced her and said: “You beat cancer twice. You can do anything.”
