As Jay-Z celebrated the launch of 2K Sports' NBA 2K13 video game at the 40/40, press were anxious to get confirmation to the rumors about him and his wife expecting a second child. On Sunday evening, Beyonce was photographed in New York City wearing a tight fitting dress and sporting what some were calling an early baby bump. However, at the star-studded video game event, the "Empire State of Mind" rapper set the record straight and said that daughter Blue Ivy isn't expecting to become a big sister anytime soon.
During an interview with E! News, Jay was asked about the pregnancy rumors, to which he responded, "Tonight? No." "What about in nine months?" E! News' Alicia Quarles prodded. "Not in nine months, absolutely not," Jay-Z responded. "But before then? What about in seven or eight months?" Quarles continued. "No," Jay-Z said. "Not in one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight or nine months." Beyonce's own mother, Tina Knowles, also attempted to settle the pregnancy rumors during a recent interview with "Access Hollywood" saying, "It's gonna happen when it's time, but not right now."
