Check out “This Is a Bus with Wings,” the latest clip from acclaimed “artivist” Jessica Care Moore. The single drops in anticipation of her debut album, Black Tea: the Legend of Jessi James, slated for an October 2nd release on Talib Kweli’s Javotti Media. Black Tea features appearances from Kweli, Imani Uzuri, Roy Ayers and Ursula Rucker.
Moore, a proud native and resident of Detroit, recently appeared at the August 9th Ferguson memorial for Mike Brown, performing a powerful piece at the site where the teenager was killed last year. Follow her on Twitter.
