Kanye West doesn’t agree with “half the sh*t” Donald Trump does but said the president inspires him.

On Monday, the rapper released a behind-the-scenes video of his new song with T.I., “Ye vs. the people,” where he, T.I. and others discuss West’s recent support of the president.

“Me putting the hat on forces an evolution,” he said. “I know so much more these past three days.”

T.I. said he believes West was honest with his tweets but did not agree with how things transpired, even calling him “thoughtless.”

“Your intentions … are pure, but the direction you took to get there is a bit unorthodox. I would say, thoughtless,” the Atlanta rapper said.

West said he didn’t think about his decision to come out as a Trump supporter and to post with a “Make America Great Again” hat, but was motivated by feeling.

“When I wear that hat, it’s like a fight for equality,” the “Jesus Walks” rapper said. “Half the sh*t Trump does, I do not agree with.”

When pressed about what part he does agree with, West did not elaborate but said the president’s election win inspired him.

“The ability to do what no one said you can do, to do the impossible is the most inspiring thing to me,” he said.
