Kanye West and his wife, Kim Kardashian West, and their daughter, North, are currently in Uganda to reportedly finish the rapper’s upcoming album YANDHI, which is scheduled to drop later this year. On Monday, West shared videos of children in the East African country dancing around wearing pairs of his Adidas sneakers.

The 41-year-old uploaded two videos, one showing the kids in the triple white colorway of the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2, which released on Sept. 21, and another showcasing bags full of the dozens of shoes he gifted to the locals.

He captioned the clip, “We Got Love.” The controversial rapper has been sharing his message that “love” can change the world for a couple of weeks. It was the platform he used to defend wearing the MAGA hat, as well as, a part of his rant during his White House meeting with President Donald Trump.

While on the continent the “Yikes” rapper and his wife had the privilege of meeting the President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni. According to BBC News, the specifics surrounding the meeting are unknown, but the president gave the couple Ugandan names.

Kanye was given the name “Kanyesigye,” which means “I trust,” and Kim was named “Kemigisha,” which translates to “the one with blessings from God.”

The reality tv star is arguably one of the most known celebrities in America, but People reports that Museveni asked her what her job was. Kim explained that she and her sister had their own show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Kanye gifted the Ugandan president with a pair of his coveted Yeezys, which both he and his wife autographed.

President Museveni took to Twitter after the meeting to share photos and wrote, “I welcome American entertainment stars Kanye West and Kim Kardashian to Uganda. I held fruitful discussions with the duo on how to promote Uganda’s tourism and the arts. I thank Kanye for the gift of white sneakers.”
