Apparently, Kanye West wants to make amends with Drake. The producer issued a public apology in a series of tweets on Wednesday morning for their falling out over the beat of his song “Lift Yourself” and his involvement in the creation of Pusha T’s “Infrared” and “The Story of Adidon,” which took shots at Drake.

The Chicagoan started his message with “sending good energy and love” to Drake and his whole team. “I haven’t seen the show in person but the images look incredible online. I understand where the confusion started,” he added.

He then said he was sorry for dropping the recent G.O.O.D. Music projects so close to Drake’s latest album, Scorpion. “Let me start by apologizing for stepping on your release date in the first place.” West also mentioned helping to quell any issues that existed between his longtime collaborator Kid Cudi and the Canadian rapper.

The Yeezy fashion head explained that he was caught up in the aftermath of saying “Slavery was a choice” on TMZ Live in May. West has since apologized for the incendiary comments and for aligning himself with President Donald Trump.

He clarified that he didn’t speak to Pusha T about Drake in any capacity. “I did not have any conversations about your child with Pusha,” West tweeted. “I don’t play with the idea of people’s children after I spoke to Wiz a few years earlier.”

Pusha T called out Drake for allegedly using Quentin Miller as a ghostwriter on “Infrared,” which was produced by West. The 6 God responded on the “Duppy Freestyle,” where he referred to Virginia Williams, Pusha’s then-fiancée.

The Bronx born rapper felt Drake crossed a line and released “The Story of Adidon,” in which revealed that Drake had a secret child. The cover art for the single featured a picture of the biracial rapper donning blackface.

“I never listened to either diss track that followed but I did hear quotes from both songs after they were released, West tweeted.

He added the thread expressing his love for both rappers and saying he would be at Drake’s upcoming show.
