Kelly Rowland recently put her music trivia skills to work while playing a game of song association with ELLE magazine.

Players are given 10 seconds to sing a song including the given word or phrase, with Rowland choosing tunes from Aretha Franklin, Musiq Soulchild, Anita Baker, LeAnn Rimes and even her own crew, Destiny’s Child.

Check out the clip below.

The R&B diva was recently cast as Gladys Knight in new BET series American Soul, which will tell the story of the emergence and rise of Soul Train, created by the late Don Cornelius.

Billboard reports Rowland’s multiepisodic guest role will be crucial to the series, as Knight was one of the first performers Cornelius booked during Soul Train’s early days. The Grammy winner will also record her own original version of Knight’s signature hit, “Midnight Train to Georgia.”
