Kendrick Lamar is slated to open the 60th Annual  Grammy Awards ceremony, according to Billboard. He is the latest in the wave of additions to the live performers that include Sam Smith and U2.

K.Dot is nominated for seven awards, including album of the year. It was also reported that Miley Cyrus will share the stage with Elton John and perform one of his classic hits. The U.K. legend will receive the 2018 President’s Merit Award.

SZA, Childish Gambino, Kesha, Lady Gaga, Kesha, Alessia Cara, Khalid and Logic are scheduled to perform, as are Cardi B and Bruno Mars.  The famous awards show is returning to New York City after 15 years in Los Angeles. It will be hosted by James Corden and take place at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Jan. 28.  The show airs live on CBS beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.
