Kimberly Elise is the latest star to publicly show Almost Christmas co-star Mo’Nique support following her call to boycott Netflix for racial and gender bias.
The John Q actress took to Twitter to let the comic know she’s behind her, sharing, “@moworldwide so much love to you both. They want the #blackgirlmagic but have not wanted pay for it. #worthy”

One troll then asked Elise about Mo’Nique’s role in Almost Christmas, with the talented thespian giving the stand-up her just due for making the comedy a hit.
Hey @iKimberlyElise! Since @moworldwide keeps touting the success of the ENSEMBLE “hit” Almost Christmas, is she does get a deal will she share it with the cast? She didn’t make the film a hit alone.

yes it was an ensemble but @moworldwide was the sparkle and oxygen of that film. I give her a billion props for her work in it. It wouldn’t have been the same without HER. That’s the simple truth.

Elise follows Chance the Rapper and India.Arie in their public support of the Oscar-winner.
