Black Panther actress Letitia Wright and Star Wars actor John Boyega will star in Hold Back the Stars, a Sci-Fi love story, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film is an adaptation of the 2017 novel of the same name by Katie Khan. The story focuses on Carys (Wright) and Max (Boyega) who become trapped in space with only 90 minutes worth of oxygen and use it to recall their love affair on Earth.

Hold Back the Stars will be scripted by Christy Hall and directed by Mike Cahill, the filmmaker responsible for the sci-fi drama, I Origins (2014)

Khan shared her enthusiasm about the upcoming rework of her book, which was published in 2017 by Simon & Schuster.

“Well, I see that secret I was so anxiously keeping is out,” the author tweeted. “Hooray! Some absolutely dream casting for my novel, Hold Back the Stars, here (BESIDE MYSELF WITH EXCITEMENT).”

Boyega and Wright grew up in Britain and took drama classes together. They are now the rising stars of Black Hollywood.

The Stars Wars actor will reappear as Finn, the first Black stormtrooper, in Episode IX in the epic space opera franchise and will voice Bigwig in the miniseries version of Watership Down.

“People like to relate to themselves on screen,” Boyega told TIME in Nov. 2017. “I think it’s important we see everybody. Movies are about imagination and people making universes and worlds in which we want to explore and within that has to be a reflection on our world, and unfortunately, our world is not one color.”

The Emmy-nominated actress recently said that her Christian faith helped her out of a depressive bout in 2015. The “very dark place” led her to contemplate leaving the acting business.

Wright will reprise her role as Shuri, the smartest character in the Marvel Universe,  in the sequel to the global box office hit, Black Panther.’
