Mariah Carey is the latest celebrity whose home was recently invaded by burglars.
The guilty party is believed to have snuck in through a window or door on a ladder found in the backyard of the Los Angeles mansion, according to TMZ. The burglars triggered a silent alarm; however, security didn’t discover the break-in until about three or four hours later.
Though the intruders didn’t make off with any cash or jewelry, they did steal more than $50,000 worth of designer handbags and sunglasses.
The mother of two was in New York during the 3 a.m. robbery Thursday, where the 47-year-old chanteuse enjoyed dinner and bowling with boyfriend, dancer Brian Tanaka, 34, the previous night.
