Last week, Nicki Minaj made some fans VERY happy when she agreed to offer financial assistance to help them pay off student loans, their remaining balances for school and to buy books for class.
Because Nicki’s act of kindness got such a big response, the rapper has plans to launch what she calls, an “official charity for Student Loans/Tuition Payments.”
According to what she wrote on Instagram, fans will be able to get direct help.
“You’ll be able to officially sign up! I’ll keep you posted!” she wrote. Nicki will also have another “impromptu payment spree in the near future.”
Last week, Nicki shared the payments that were done.
Nicki is clearly in touch with the needs of her fan base. Many of them are young people who are in school, or recently finished school and need help paying back loans or paying for classes the next semester.
Seeing how student loan debt is at $1 billion and is the reason many young people today are having a hard time getting ahead financially, Nicki’s charity will be much needed.
