Paula Abdul took a pretty bad tumble off stage during a recent performance at the Hard Rock Rock Cafe and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, falling forward as she danced towards the front of the stage singing, “The Promise of a New Day.”

The fan video from YouTube appears to show the 56-year-old entertainer misstep right into the photography pit. One front-row fan assured the masses that the former American Idol judge was just fine.

“Just to reassure the PAmily, Paula is OKAY! During ‘The Promise of a New Day’ she tried to reach out towards the audience, but fell off the stage instead. The dancers pulled her back up onstage. She said to the audience members who caught her ‘I’m okay! Thank you for saving my life!’ and continued on with the show like a pro!”

This may just be the season of on-stage mishaps, as Childish Gambino has been forced to reschedule his This Is America tour after breaking his foot while performing in Dallas, TX. Deadline reports Gambino cancelled his Los Angeles date and is working to reschedule the rest of his shows, getting back on the road once his foot has completely healed. While the postponement is disappointing, it’s good to know fans will still get their last shot to see Gambino on-stage. The rapper recently announced that his current tour will be his last.
