After so many years in the game, R. Kelly truly believes nothing can stop him, not even the multiple sexual abuse allegations brought against him over the span of his career. A powerful new interview with his ex-wife, however, could possibly be the final straw for even his most loyal of fans.

Andrea Kelly recently sat down with Sister Circle’s Syleena Johnson to discuss her ex-husband, saying she believes enough is enough, and that God instructed her to speak out because she’s genuinely concerned with the “Down Low” singer’s well-being.

“I don’t believe that my ex-husband has enough people in his life to be real with him, to be honest with him, who care about his healing, who care about these families healing, and I feel like it’s God’s time.

Kelly went on to say it took her years to even admit that she was a victim of her ex’s behavior as well, breaking down while revealing the moment it dawned on her that her spouse was abusive, even without the more obvious signs.

“I’m not the teeth missing, I’m not the broken bone girl. God said ‘keep scrolling,’ so I kept scrolling, kept scrolling. At the end of the domestic violence awareness website, there was a questionnaire of 17 questions. They ask you if your abuser has ever done them, and of the 17, Robert had done 15 to me.”

The mother of three also discussed the moment she walked away from the songwriter, saying she contemplated suicide, almost jumping from a Miami hotel balcony. See her open up about the heartbreaking moment below.
