Rev. Run is no stranger to the small screen, having starred in MTV hit Run’s House and several other reality shows since. Now, fans can look forward to seeing the veteran MC once again: He and wife Justine will be co-starring in a new scripted series for Netflix, according to The Hollywood Reporter (THR).

The multicamera effort stars Run as a legendary rapper whose plans for slowing down are thwarted when his spouse (played by his real-life wife) decides to pursue her own dreams.

Interestingly, ABC landed the script in October 2016 with a sizable penalty attached after a multiple-network bidding war. The Disney-owned broadcast network then passed on picking up the project to pilot. Netflix is the lucky streaming service that landed the potential hit. According to THR, this is the second passed-over pilot from last season’s crop to land on the popular service, bringing Insatiable to series after the CBS Television Studios-produced pilot missed a series pickup at The CW.
