Rihanna and Chris Brown have entered the rumor mill once again, but this time it is the Bajan pop star who stoked the fire. The "Where Have You Been" singer has been heavily promoting her scheduled appearance and performance at the VMAs this Thursday, by tweeting to her legion of fans the Rihanna Navi. Most recently, Rih Rih repeatedly thanked her fans as well as Brown's fans for voting for their smash up "Kiss Kiss/Umbrella" VMA performance as the show's "hottest" debut performance ever on an MTV.com poll.

While Breezy has reportedly insisted that he will not be at the VMAs in any capacity whatsoever, this recent win along with the former lovers' penchant for controversy and shock has many convinced otherwise. Given that Brown and Rihanna originally collaborated on the "Birthday Cake" remix and the VMAs tendency for breaking pop culture news, there's a good chance that they won't pass up on yet another chance to shock us all once again by reuniting on the stage. Furthermore, Rihanna also revealed her latest "Cockiness" remix featuring rapper A$AP Rocky on Twitter and the VMAs website, no doubt hinting to a mashup performance at the show. Just when we thought it couldn't get any crazier, apparently the show seating arrangement has Rihanna sitting somewhat between Drake and Breezy! Kids these days.
