Influenced by the brave women and men who’ve called out several offenders of late, Terry Crews recently admitted that he was sexually assaulted by an agent at a party in front of his wife. He later revealed in an interview with Good Morning America that the agent in question was William Morris Endeavor executive Adam Venit, who “has been suspended following the internal investigation into the matter,” according to ABC News.

Overall, Crews has been met with overwhelming support. Still, there’s at least one A-lister who thinks the agent should be given another chanceRussell Simmons e-mailed the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor, requesting he “give the agent a pass” and ask that Venit be reinstated.
Crews blasted the Def Jam co-founder by posting the private email on Twitter, tagging Simmons and letting him know that “NO ONE GETS A PASS.”

Simmons has yet to respond to Crews’ callout, but he did address allegations that he and film director Brett Ratner sexually assaulted a woman at Ratner’s home, denying any wrongdoing.
“This is an important and critical time for the empowerment of women and men who have been harassed. I have been a public figure for all of my adult life. And when you are in that arena over decades, you can find yourself in a position where you are vulnerable and susceptible to claims that are untrue.”
