Solange is heading to Chicago and the EBONY team is plotting on making our way to see the ‘Sol Angel’ spread her light and vocals during the annual Pitchfork music festival.
The festival is celebrating its 12th year and kicks off July 14-16 with A Tribe Called Quest headlining on the 14th and Solange closing out the three-day party on Sunday, the 16th.
In addition to performances, Solange and crew will be serving up a series of Saint Heron (the entertainers’ label and arts platform) events in collaboration with Pitchfork. The festivities will feature an art installation, film screening, artist talks, and late night jazz session.
More information on the happenings below:
• July 13 at Black Cinema House at the Stony Island Arts Bank — Saint Heron will curate an evening of film and discussion
