Solange is heading to Chicago and the EBONY team is plotting on making our way to see the ‘Sol Angel’ spread her light and vocals during the annual Pitchfork music festival.

The festival is celebrating its 12th year and kicks off July 14-16 with A Tribe Called Quest headlining on the 14th and Solange closing out the three-day party on Sunday, the 16th.

In addition to performances, Solange and crew will be serving up a series of Saint Heron (the entertainers’ label and arts platform) events in collaboration with Pitchfork. The festivities will feature an art installation, film screening, artist talks, and late night jazz session.

• July 13 at Black Cinema House at the Stony Island Arts Bank — Saint Heron will curate an evening of film and discussion

• July 14 at Soho House Chicago — Young Chicago Authors and Saint Heron will present a poetry reading and discussion

• July 15 at The Promontory — Saint Heron Presents an After Fest Jazz Jam & Party featuring the select house band and special surprise guests

• July 14-16 at the on-site Saint Heron Installation in Union Park — Saint Heron will feature works from contemporary Black art makers for the duration of the festival
