Joe, “I’d Rather Have a Love”
This song will make you smile, as long as you have a heart. The multiplatinum singer-songwriter is back to blessing our ears with his beautiful tenor once again. “I’d Rather Have a Love” is a romantic tune in the vain of ’60s and ’70s love songs of yore. It’s the first single from his forthcoming, yet-to-be-titled album scheduled for a summertime release. “I’d Rather Have a Love” is all about locking down a good one without fear of something better coming along, because once you know, you know. The song is available wherever music is sold.

Eve, “Make It Out This Town”
Eve has been playing games with our hearts on the music tip, but “Make It Out This Town” is proof that she’s still got it. The motivational song (featuring Cobra Starship lead singer Gabe Saporta on the hook) is about believing in yourself and chasing dreams. It sounds pretty cheesy, but Eve still has the grit that she came with back in her Ruff Ryder days.

Cee Lo Green, “Only You” (feat. Lauriana Mae)
The visuals for Cee Lo’s latest is available to the masses. The soulful song is about breakups and remorse for lost relationships. Who can’t relate to that? The soulful melody sounds very ’60s (often typical of Cee Lo), and the video is simple with a forlorn Cee Lo and Lauriana walking down the street wishing for their lovers back.

Andre Mieux, “We Could Do Whatever” (DJ Break Remix)
“We Could Do Whatever” is a unique blend of hip-hop, R&B and electronic. Based on the title, I’m pretty sure you’ve guessed that the subject matter is self-explanatory. In a sing/rap staccato cadence, Mieux basically sings about the fact that he and his special lady can do whatever they want, like traveling the world and living the good life. In case you’re wondering, the LA-based singer/songwriter and producer comes from a musical family. He’s skilled in classical piano, and has been a part of a wide range of projects throughout his career, from pianist to movie scoring.

Ciara, “Body Party”
Ciara keeps it sexy over a slowed down version of the Ghost Town DJ’s classic "My Boo." Ciara sings, “I can’t keep my hands off you/Your body is my party,” in her signature high-pitched breathy falsetto, and you can’t help but picture the video. You know how she does when it comes to the tomboy-chic wardrobe and hip gyrations for extra emphasis. I digress. The sultry song also channels The Velvet Rope Janet Jackson, and I'm not mad. “Body Party” is the latest single from her forthcoming fifth studio album, One Woman Army.
