Terry Crews Agrees to Psychiatric Exam in Sexual Assault Case

Actor Terry Crews is moving forward with his sexual assault lawsuit against the agent he alleges groped him at an industry party. Crews has agreed to a mental health examination in connection with the case.

According to TMZ, Crews and lawyers representing the suspected agent Adam Venit have agreed on a doctor to administer the test. A stipulation filed in the civil lawsuit requires Crews to take the evaluation which is 7 hours long. The extensive exam will include a “comprehensive psycho-social and medical history and the administration of mental status testing and psychological testing,” according to the court documents.

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star was one of the first men in Hollywood to share his #MeToo story on social media. Along with his civil suit, he filed a criminal complaint against Venit with the LAPD which is still being investigated. As the investigation takes place Crews remains signed to and managed by WME the talent agency Venit founded.
