Classic streetwear designer Karl Kani clothed some of hip hop’s biggest names during the 1990s. Tupac Shakur, Aaliyah, Nas, Diddy and several others proudly rocked denim, jerseys and more from the label, and it appears millennials and Gen Z will now have a chance to embrace the brand as well.

Teyana Taylor is the new face of Karl Kani, who has teamed up with British fashion online retailer PrettyLittleThing for a women’s wear collection full of color, life and classic hip hop aesthetics.

This Karl Kani partnership marks the first brand collaboration for PrettyLittleThing.

“We’re a very celebrity-focused brand, but you see what Virgil [Abloh] is doing with Off-White; you see Vetements; and I was very inspired by the Louis Vuitton and Supreme collaboration, as well,” says PrettyLittleThing founder and CEO Umar Kamani, according to Fashionista. “I want Karl’s fans and customers to understand PrettyLittleThing in a different way after this, and I want the PrettyLittleThing customer to understand and respect the heritage of Karl Kani.”
