It’s a good time for Black folks on TV. With the success of sitcoms like Black-ish, The Carmichael Show and Insecure, and dramas including Queen Sugar, Power and Scandal, Black storytellers are ruling the airwaves and crossing over into a wide variety of households. With that in mind, Disney has ordered up a sequel to the popular show, That’s So Raven.

The show will reunite Raven Baxter with her BFF Chelsea Daniels, but this time they’ll be a pair of “divorced single mothers raising their two separate families in one chaotic, but fun household full of friends.”

Currently titled Raven’s Home, the sitcom is schedule to begin production later this month and will star Raven-Symoné and Anneliese van der Pol. According to a statement from the network about the show, after noticing one of her children shows signs that they’ve inherited her mother’s ability to see the future, “the already hectic household gets turned upside down, keeping even Raven on her toes.”

Though Symoné has had a series of guest starring appearances on shows including black-ish and Empire, the new show will be her first regular spot on TV since she exited ABC’s The View in 2016.
