Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris is no stranger to films and television. He’s starred in everything from ATL to Roots, and he even had his own reality series that showcased his family life on T.I & Tiny: The Family Hustle. Now, the rapper/actor is moving into scripted television with a new series, Atlanta’s Most Wanted, which he will star in and executive produce alongside legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

Variety is reporting that the hourlong drama will focus on Marcus Armstrong (Harris), a law enforcement officer who is the son of a notorious Atlanta criminal kingpin. When Marcus is assigned to a new vice squad that’s set up to catch the city’s biggest criminals, his lifelong secret just might be exposed.

In a statement about the forthcoming series, Harris said, “I am honored to partner with Fox and Bruckheimer on what is truly a passion project for me. It’s going to be amazing to see my city represented in this fashion.”

Though Atlanta’s Most Wanted is being developed for Fox, the pilot still needs to be picked up to series. Therefore, it could be a moment before we actually see the series on television.

Most recently, Harris was seen in the films Fist Fight and Sleepless. In 2018, he is expected to reprise his role as Dave in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. He is also slated to begin production for the film The Trap, a comedy in which he stars with comedian Mike Epps. With The Family Hustle all wrapped up, it looks as if we’ll be seeing a lot more of the music mogul on the big and small screens.
