Toni Braxton proudly announced that her son Diezel Braxton, 15, has signed a modeling contract with Wilhelmina Models, the world’s leading modeling agency, on Saturday (June 30).

The R&B singer posted an image of herself with Diezel and Bill Wickerman, the CEO of Wilhelmina, to share the exciting news. She captioned the photo, “Congrats Diezy  @diezel.braxton on signing to Wilhelmina Modeling Agency!!!” with a starstruck and black heart emoji.

Diezel is Braxton’s second child with her former husband, Keri Lewis. Diezel was diagnosed with autism from a young age, which led his mother to become active with organizations including Autism Speaks. She was named the global ambassador of the advocacy group in 2012. Two years ago, during an interview, the singer revealed her son, then 13,  no longer exhibited symptoms of the autism spectrum.

Diezel shared the news on his own Instagram, captioning the image, “It’s time to get to work. You ready @wilhelminamodels.”
