Travis Scott attended Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Finals on Thursday night (May 24) between the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors during the pregame he honored the survivors of the Santa Fe High School shooting.

The rapper went onto the court to stand alongside team owner Tilman Fertitta to show praise to the students and faculty who were in the audience for the game. To the senior class of Santa Fe High School, the latest site for a mass school shooting, he said: “To the Santa Fe seniors, to the amazing officers, to the principals… Ya’ll are the strongest people on this Earth. Thank you for being the heroes for all of us.

The gunman killed 10 people and wounded 10 others, it was the 22nd school shooting this year.
