LeBron James is a grown man with no time for foolishness, which is exactly why he reportedly left his own ESPY’s after-party early following an altercation between his former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Tristan Thompson and Draymond Green of the NBA championship Golden State Warriors.

Bossip was first to report the alleged fight, saying multiple sources confirmed there was a scuffle between the two at the July 18th party hosted by James. Thompson reportedly hit Green twice with a closed fist without warning. One source described the move to The Athletic as  a “sucker punch” with “No argument. No squaring up. No taking it outside,” according to Deadspin.

Another witness claimed it was more of a “face mush.”

James and Golden State Warrior Kevin Durant reportedly broke up the fight, with the new Laker leaving the venue shortly after. Fox Sports reporter Jason McIntyre confirmed that he also heard about Green and Draymond’s fight, giving a play-by-play via Twitter.

News of the alleged fight is no surprise to NBA fans, as Green and Thompson have a history of bickering with one another. They argued during the 2017 NBA Finals and got into a minor altercation during Game 1 this year.

Green also refused to shake Thompson’s hand – a sign of good sportsmanship – following Golden State’s Game 4 win, uttering, “I don’t f*ck with you” to Thompson’s face. See the footage below.
