According to Usher’s ex-wife Grace Miguel, their L.A. home was robbed of $820,000 in cash and jewelry. As reported by The Blast, Miguel filed a police report with the LAPD after being alerted to the burglary on March 29.

The housekeeper reports that she found a “footprint on the second floor, a handprint on the pillow in the lower floor and the curtains to the lower floor window were open.” After feeling as though something was off as the house is currently on the market, she realized that the security recording box was missing and the wires had been cut — indicating a robbery.

Upon arriving at the home Grace realized that several pieces of jewelry (a rose gold Jesus necklace and six watches) were missing along with $20,000 in cash that was stowed away in a nightstand.

There was no forced entry so the realtor has been asked to provide a list of people who viewed the home. Miguel believes that the suspected robbers unlocked a window during an open house to later return for the heist. This is just the latest in celebrity homes that have been targeted for burglaries in the LA area within the last year.
