Usher Raymond is an R&B veteran, with plenty of club bangers and bedroom burners under his belt. Last night, the southern gentleman dropped surprise project, A, inspired by Atlanta’s immensely popular trap music scene.

The 8-track body-of-work was produced entirely by Zaytoven, an Atlanta-based beatsmith who has worked with Gucci Mane, Migos, Future and several other trap stars. Usher and Zaytoven also previously worked together on 2010’s Raymond v. Raymond.

Before releasing the project at midnight, the Confessions artist quietly deleted all of his Instagram posts and replaced them with snippets from the collaborative effort.

The project comes just days before the “U Got It Bad” singer turns 40 years old on October 14. Stream the new album below.
