Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, is getting the biopic treatment with TV One’s Bobbi Kristina, premiering Sunday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. ET.

Vivica A. Fox, who stars in the film as Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Pat Houston, recently became emotional discussing the film and her late friend, Whitney.

When asked if she appreciates the singer more now after filming this project, the actress shared that it made her miss the Grammy winner even more.

“There was one scene that I’ll never forget—and I’m sorry if I’m getting emotional—where Demetria McKinney, who played Whitney, she did such an amazing job, and there was a scene where we had to relive, basically, her leaving us,” the actress told Page Six TV.

The 53-year-old continued, “I did go to her funeral and everything so to tap into the emotions for this movie was easy for me because I loved her and we had such a huge amount of respect for her and that’s what we want to let everyone know.”

According to TVOne, “the untold story of Bobbi Kristina Brown is one of adventure, dreams, conflict, perseverance, faith, friendship, and love — a love between mother and daughter. A love often interrupted by success, emotional upheaval and drug addiction but an unshakable, incomparable, unwavering love nonetheless.”

Bobbi Kristina airs Oct. 8 at 7p.m. EST on TV One.
