A Childish Gambino & Chance the Rapper Project May Be in the Works

Childish Gambino still has a few things to check off his bucket list before completely hanging up the mic. The multi-talented star has mentioned retirement in the past, but fortunately for Gambino fans, his musical future is looking bright.

Donald, who won two Emmys this weekend for his work on Atlanta, shared his future plans in music and it includes a collaboration project with Chance The Rapper. “I don’t ever want to do anything because I’m forced to,” he told reporters backstage at the Emmys. “Once you do that, things start to get bad and you jump the shark. Also, I feel like if I don’t make a Chance the Rapper mixtape, like double mixtape, a bunch of 14-year-olds will kick my ass. They stop me on the street and it’s kind of scary. Youth scares me. So I feel like I’ve gotta do something. I probably will.”

Chance co-signed with just a tweet, however, the duo teased a potential collab back in January, which could imply there is more music to come. In the past, the two teamed up on  “The Worst Guys” and “Favorite Song.” Additionally, Chance starred in Donald’s screenplay, because the internet.
